Dogs on AT - Appalachian Trail

Read my 2006 April 18/19 (around there) AT journal entries where I had an encounter with a dog and his owner.

I never got much feedback which led me to wonder if I could have handled it better. Read about it and tell me what you think. Thanks

I would not take a dog on the trail. If one does, then the dog always must come first. And . . . I was at a hostel in GA and it was very new, clean, beautiful, really nice. We were talking one night and they said they have a policy of accepting hikers WITH dogs (if they have them). This is just my experience with one hostel.

It would be nice if there were no whiners and a&&holes on the trail either but it appears there are.

IF YOU HIKE WITH A DOG YOU SHOULD BE TIED TO A TREE AND MADE TO WATCH AS YOUR DOG IS TORTURED AND RIPPED TO SHREDS. SEE THAT DOG SODOM1ZED WITH A HIKING STICK. HELL YEAH. :cheers
