In defense of the appalachian trail

I care about the A-T and all LDHT in America cause one thing Canadians don’t have is LDHT. Right? See? So what I don’t care about don’t concern me.America rules, and no other county do they have the LDHT we have. I would like to get Bush out here helping with the trail, he likes that sort of thing clearing trails around his ranch. So why don’t we ask him to help out one of the clubs on the A-T for the day like the President of my county that he is and all, which one of you will cast the first stone? All I care is that the A-T is still a 2000 mile trek when I’m gone.

There’s a few (GDT, IAT, SCT, Bruce Trail, Gros-Mourne, Trans-Canada), but admittedly not as huge as America’s. The problem we have here is that most towns, cities and near the border (east-west)but the various mountain ranges that tend to reach south-north, so resupplying is difficult. The bonus for us is that most of our trails are more secluded from civilization and have a wild beauty.

So you Americans have an excellant geography and social captial to create and maintain some awesome LDHT trails, which means your role as stewards is paramount.
