the simpler life… the kind where things that don’t really matter really don’t matter. the kind that looks at things as just things, and not of real value. the kind that sees creation day in and day out and takes time to marvel at this masterpiece from God, not boxed in with metal and concrete like the man-made world so many have allowed themselves to be slaves to.

“We live in a house that God built but the former tenants remodelled-blewup,it looks like-before we arrived. Poking through the rubble in our odd hours, we’ve found the corners that were spared and have hidden in them as much as possible. Not to escape from but to escape to; not to forget but to remember. We’ve learned to take ourselves to places where it really matters. The point of it all is Out There, alittle beyond that last rise you can barely see, hazy and purple on the sky.” - Terry Russell
