I’m with Delorme. You guys sound like pu$$ies. My dog could hike circles around you clowns, so he does whatever he wants. Just about everyone who’s normal loves the company of a dog around the shelter anyway. You’re in the minority, so maybe you should stay home and stroke your cat. Personally, I hope my dog Harpua takes a piss right on your pack.

If you don’t have no more respect for other hikers and their gear, Well then what ever happens. HAPPENS it is what it is. Period. As for the stink, hikers can and some do take the nessary steps to stay as clean as possible. if you don’t well then you want get a good reception on the trail or in the towns, personally i think it’s a good idea to take ( bird baths). GOOD LUCK TO YOU.

Personally i nevere bothered when on the trail with attmpting to bathe. everyoen stinks so for me it isnt much of an issue and you are only gonna stink again the next day after hiking. I have no objectiosn to others washing themselves on the trail. if you can be bothered to then fair enough. jsut try to keep it out of shelter water sources, go downstream.

and i love trail dogs but they should be well trained. arriving at a shelter and hearing the words “hey you dont have a dog do you, Maggie will kill it!” or similar isnt something you want. dogs i feel should definately be confined during the night so as to stop them climbing over hikers as ive known some to do.

All hikers stink and most dogs don’t belong on the trail. You guys have been very entertaining. See you on the trail.

People that brag about accomplishments on the trail, and tell other’s how to do ANYTHING are sad…
