Always looking for that terminal crush!

#4 - I’m addicted to hiking and I can read about the experience of other AT hikers on TJ while reminiscing about my own hike. Can’t wait to get back out there again. Having enough money to pay the bills at home while I’m gone is my biggest obstacle. I also lurk on at-l and plan to attend SORUCK this year. Hope to get back out on the AT in July.

It’s pretty obvious the winner is #4 “I’m addicted to anything that has to do with hiking…it’s all I care about.”
There’s got to be something to this. It’s like model railroadig, fishing, antiques, anything people just love to do. If you really enjoy something you’re going to research it through books, magazines, and especially now, the internet.
I recall Eli, who I had met on my thru-hike, wrote in his newspaper article at the end of his hike, that anyone wanting to hike the AT a second time needed to “get a life.”
Well, thanks again to Leif and Zip Drive from one of those who can’t seem to “get a life” and who relys on Trail Journals when he can’t be out hiking.
