Has anyone used the Monson Maine outfitter called 100MileWilderness? I’m planning a southbound hike beginning at Monson and am thinking of using them for:

I have not used them, but many on White Blaze have used Phil’s services (100 Mile Wilderness Outfitters) and have reported that they have been satisfied customers. If things don’t work out with Phil, you might want to talk to Hippie Chick and Poet (Kim & Jarod Hester) over at Shaw’s Hiker Hostel. Their contact information can be found on their website here: http://www.shawshikerhostel.com/. They also offer long term parking, shuttles, etc. I have stayed at their hostel and they are awesome!

We used Phil Pepin at 100MileWilderness last year. He was great. We are older section hikers so took our time getting through the wilderness. He supplied us part way through by hiding a bucket full of food, with good directions to find it, along the Jo Mary Road. He also helped us out by bringing us spare hiking poles after two of us lost them crossing Little Wilson Creek. He knows back logging roads that can get him close to the trail for emergencies.
