Hi, I’m new to this forum and I was perusing it over the past couple of days and it seems like you guys have a lot of valuable information to offer.
I’m hiking the last 100 miles of the AT with two other gentlemen from the 21 through the 31 of august this month. We’re thinking of taking two vehicles and parking one up north and one down somewhere near Monson. Of course we’ll be willing to pay any parking fees. Does anyone know of places that will allow us to park for around 10 days? (hopefully a little less than that)
My only backpacking experience prior to this has been 3 nighters and one summit of Mt. Washington, where we could just drop our car off in a parking lot and no one would ask questions. How does this work in Baxter and in/around Monson?
