Is there a list of finished AT thru hikers? I hiked a bit southbound this summer and wanted to know if some of the people I met reached the end.

ATC will publish the list of those who sent in the form saying they finished the trail this year sometime this winter. It takes a while for people to contact ATC. Some people never do. You might also check the trail journals to see if any of the people you met have online journals or are mentioned in other journals.
