Anyone going to be in the Atlanta area around the 3rd or 4th of April and able to give to hikers a ride to Springer? We will be renting a car and driving from Florida but can only return it around Atlanta. Any help would be greatly apprieciated. Thanks Myykl GA-ME04

My wife and I are flying into Atlanta on Saturday afternoon, April 3. We are renting a car and driving to Amicolola Falls that evening. I am planning on starting my hike the next day, Sunday the 4th.

Check with the folks at Hiker Hostel, they are great at helping hikers, contact them at hikerhostel.com . Both are former thru-hikers (almanac and profile) and they got myself, heather, arwin, and their dog to springer for a 3/1 start. Worth checking out.
