4 day Winter Smokies Hike

I need one! A loop with a parking lot as a trailhead (don’t want to deal with the hitchhiking as it is the wintertime). Any suggestions? All input is appreciated as I’m on a time crunch and have some friends looking to me for the planning! Thanks in advance.

Mt. LeConte My wife did a 3 day look there and there are so many trails that it would be easy to get another days hike and it is beautiful especially in the winter. But watch the weather close and remember you are higher that most areas that have weather reports so expect worse

My wife and I did a 4-day loop last year. Start at Cosby Campground and head up Lower Mount Cammerer to the AT and stay at Davensport Shelter. Day 2 head up the AT to Low Gap and stay at Camp 36 (or 37 which ever is not the horse camp). Day 3 is up Camel Gap up the AT to Maddron Bald Trail and site 29. Day four goes on to Gabes Mountain Trail and past the falls and back to Cosby Camp. We did this last March and loved it!

It’s been a few years so the details are few. I started in a valley below leconte by greenbrier followed a trail straight to the top stayed at the shelter crossed to the AT north to about davenport gap then followed a seldom used settlers trail back to the car this avoids high roads that may close
