The Appalachian Trail between Compton Gap and the Browntown Trail/Gravel Springs Gap is closed, as well as the entire northern section of Skyline Drive (between Front Royal, VA, and Route 211/Thornton Gap).

Is this the same information or another part of the trail that is closed?

A.T. CLOSED on 13-mile section near Roanoke due to fire–Va. 621/Craig Creek Valley north to Dragon’s Tooth.

This would be a different section than the Shenandoah portion.
