87 year old German, Harry

									Has anyone seen Harry, 87 year old German  Last contact I had was he was in Manchester Vt headed north. Would love to know where he is and how to contact him and to know he is still on the AT

									Hope this is the same German.In the journal I just read he was called Pee Wee German.He was NoBo at Monson Me on 9-23.Sounds like a very jolly fellow. Hope this helps. .....Bubblegum. ...

									He was at Kent Pond, VT two weeks ago, still heading north. See Gumby's post dated Sept 15. I hiked with him in the Grayson Highlands and have been following him ever since. Unfortunately, I never got his contact info and it's getting harder to track him now that most hikers are farther along, north and south. If you hear anything more recent, I'd love to know he's well.

									I chatted with Harry in northern Vermont on 9/17/13 at a shelter or tow before the the Lookout. He was doing well at that time and talked about hiking in New Zealand early 2014

									Thanks for the info about Harry Rost. That is who we are looking for.  Have contacted Hiker Welcome Hostel in Glenc liff. Hopefully we will hear from them. Or someone else that can get his contact info.   Thanks again for your help.

									Just met Harry yesterday on the Twinway Trail and he followed us down to the Zealand Hut in New Hampshire's White Mountains.  He gave us his website but nothing new on there.  He was sleeping in this morning when we left Zealand and he thought last night that he would be heading to Boston to fly home this week.  What an amazing person!  It was such a pleasure to meet him and he is my new hero! He did talk about climbing in New Zealand yes, but not sure if he will come back and finish the AT...maybe in 2 years!

									I also met Harry at Zealand Hut on Oct 4th, he stayed at the hut for 2 nights. He left Zealand on the A-Z trail and seemed to be ok. At first he said he was going to head to Boston but then he said he was continuing the AT: but that he did not know how much longer. What an amazing man!! Checked out his web site and he has had quite a life of climbing and hiking . An inspiration to all.

									We have tracked Harry down.  Fahmah will meet him where he will be staying and give him that ride to Boston that he had promised him in time for his flight on the 21st.  Thank you to all that have responded and followed this incredible, amazing man!!  Happy Hiking to you!
