Sorry, this is not a response to the above posting, however I plan to go down south the week of march 12-21st. Im coming from Burlington VT, thru NYC. If any prospective thru-hiker or anyone needs a ride down there i’d be willing to give it to you provided you help split the driving and some gas money. didn’t make that completely clear. I plan to spend most of the week in the south so the ride would have to be that weekend (march 12-14th). Plan to do copious amounts of Trail magic for hikers. This would be ideal for anyone starting in the march 15th crowd. If your anywhere in new england/mid atlantic we could probably figure something out.

I know it’s a bit late but I’m driving to Springer from the Wash. DC area the first week of March.
I can carry one person if it helps. No charge but I may not be stopping except for gas and bathroom breaks.
