Join authors and Appalachian Trail thru-hikers Stephen Otis and Colin Roberts at REI Kennesaw located at 740 Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw, GA on Saturday, October 4th and Sunday, October 5th for a book signing of their work “A Road More or Less Traveled: Madcap Adventures Along the Appalachian Trail” The authors will be signing books throughout the day at the Kennesaw store. This book is the strange but true tale of two men who set out to walk the Appalachian Trail, America’s most heralded footpath, extending over two thousand miles from Maine to Georgia. Along the way they find uncouth beauty, collide with a America’s churning technocracy and battle a faith in ruins. “Road” is a story filled with adventure, absurdity, humor, and gnarly soul searching. Meet the authors and discuss their adventures as they sign your book. Books will be available for purchase. Also, join them for an informative clinic on their thru-hiking experience at 3:00PM on Saturday and Sunday.

Speaking of madcap adventures, The Cactus Eaters about a PCT hike is an incredible read! Wish I could make the Book signing. Any hiking book is a must-read for me.

Dead Men Hike No Trails is a GREAT book by thru-hiker Rick McKinney. Got my copy at amazon.com
Also loved Otis & Robert’s Road More or Less Traveled. It was a great read too. Read Cactus Eaters last month and really enjoyed it too. (Too much reading, not enough hiking!!!)
