There is a local lady in Strawberry adjacent to Pine that has a very nice apt. she is willing to rent for the night to responsible hikers for around $35-$40/night. This would include a lift from/to trail. Her name is Christy Powers and I have her contact infor. if anyone is interested. I stayed at her place last season. Very nice and restful stay.
