I’m planning to section hike sections B, C and D, ending up somewhere near Agau Dulce.

Does anyone know what the options are in terms of transportation out of Agua Dulce?

I seem to remember theirs a bus or trian stop near lancaster but I might be mistaken.

how’s the hitching out of AD?

Metrolink (Metrolinktrains.com) is an awesome double-decker commuter rail that runs from near Agua Dulce (actually crosses the trail in Soledad Canyon) to L.A. Union Station. The closest and most convenient Metrolink Station is “Via Princessa” which is not too far from the Saufley’s - where u can usually easily pick a ride from a fellow hiker. I’ve travelled on Metrolink twice & found them to be outstanding. Cost: $7.50 weekday / $5.75 weekends.

Happy Trails!

If you get to Agua Dulce you won’t need to hitch. Just stop in at the Saufley’s and they’ll get you to the train station.
