My brother hiked the first half of the AT in 60 days in a pair of Ahnus. They were destroyed by the end. I changed out my shoes six times over the entire trip. 300-400 miles is about as far as a pair of shoes can go.

my montrails lasted about the same.
seems to me NONE of the trail runners out there are designed for longevity?
though i’ll NEVER again own a pair of kicks w/ gore-tex!
prepare for trench foot!
