Is it advisable to carry denatured alcohol in a 12oz coke or water bottle or should I buy a heavier plastic bottle?

I use a fruit punch plastic bottle called bug juice. Its 6 to 8 oz which is big enough for the AT being that theres heet everywhere on that trail.Ive had that one bottle for thousands of miles in all kinds of weather and no leaks. So no worries on a thin plastic bottle peace

any plastic bottle will do. I prefer to use a wide mouth fruit juice plastic bottle (12 OZ) - easy to re-fill and holds the contents of a HEET bottle.

I use a wide mouth 16 oz Mountain Dew Bottle (green) for my fuel and two wide mouth 16 oz Coke bottles (clear) for my water. Do not use aluminum bottles for alcohol because the fuel reacts with the alcohol. Stainless Steel works well if you want to use metal.
