Hello just curious to see if there are anymore active amputee people out there? Have been enjoying hiking for the past 2 years and I am a BBKA or bilateral amputee..I feel as if I am a little above average ability. I have hiked many moderate and even technical trail. Hey Tim,
I am Chris. I am 37 from Michigan and a BK amputee as well. I started hiking after a reconstructive knee surgery on my bad leg was successful in keeping my knee cap in place. I LOVE it! I hike around here in Northern Michigan but I do have aspirations to hike the AT when my daughter has graduated. Glad to see someone else out there!
