I’m looking for a good full color wall map of the AT. Anyone know of a source? I’ve looked at AT.org and a couple of other google sites. I’d rather not just download sections to my printer but would prefer to find a retail source for a full map. Appreciate the help - thx!

Sounds like you're looking for a display map rather than an elevation/hiking map. The Appalachian Trail Conference has a neat online store that will probably have what you want.

Thanks TR. I looked at those, but the picture that they had online didn’t look like a trail display - just a souvenir photograph kind of thing. The Classic Poster Map didn’t show a picture - unless my computer is doing a wig-out and isn’t displaying the visual. I’d like to track the hikers I’m following on a map - kind of gives me a visual of where they are. - E.

Maybe when you went to the AT site, it was having problems, because the picture is now showing up on my computer. The map shows the eastern US and the AT is marked in a heavy red line.
I have the Classic Poster Map on the ceiling above my bed! It is a nice big poster, and I can read a lot the print while lying in my bed, which is about 5 feet from the ceiling. = )
I don’t think you’d be disappointed with it if you got it.
