. . . . well, I know a lot of hikers who got flooded out of their tents at ALDHA East! Geez, that was a wet weekend!

I hiked about 50 miles last weekend, from Arlington Road in VT to Patterson road in MA. I was hiking in water up to my knees, ponds with planks were under water.
Rivers, and brooks were up dangerously high, and moving at a fast clip.
It was a cold heavy rain, that just would not stop!!!

Most of the severe flooding was in the southwest section of NH that is below the AT. The AT itself should be about the same as it is during the spring runoff (without the snow). The good news is that the water recedes quickly at this time of the year if it will ever stop F-ing raining.

I was up on Moosilauke as part of the ALDHA work trip. The trail was in “normal” shape on Monday.

I’m sure that the boggy sections were in deep water however.
