I'm beginning in TN Friday, and will continue to the Hudson making a short detour from Shenandoah to Washington DC. Hoping to see everything that I want to see there. Any heads up o. the trail I should take, or how far out of town I'm going to have to camp? Would I be better off in a hostel? There's about a month to answer... no rush.
Oh. And will I run into anything nuts if I keep hiking north to NY/NJ until October?

_post_ AT to DC? You can catch the train to DC From Harpers Ferry.
The only trouble you might possibly have hiking north to NY is possibly a hurricane swooping in at sone point, but that’s a wild card. Other than that, it should be awesome. That’s a great time to be hiking that section.
_Rubbers_ NUTS? Hmmm, maybe. At that point I think they drop out of some trees and hit you if you're not careful..usually covered in green to soften the fall.
