I saw Mark Flagler’s film on the AT and was quite impressed with the quality if the production, I would like to know how this film rates with Thru Hikers to other material out there on the AT.

I enjoyed it immensely, as it is very educational, doesn’t get much into the trail personalities as much as into the trail.
I have TREK, Appalachian Impressions, 2000 Miles to Maine and also Walking with Freedom. The latter seemed to ME to be a self promotional piece, while 2000 Miles to Maine and TREK seemed to be “slices of life” type of films. I am hoping that Arwen and Heather from 04 come out with their film soon, I saw trailer pieces of it online and it really intrigued me.

FYI, Walking with Freedom, a personal AT hike film about by Lion King, will be screening in Athens, GA Dec 6th on the BIG screen.
