Thruhikers: are you hiking with maps other than the guidebook?

I am currently in leadville. Normally, I would say that the guidebook and databook are more than sufficient. However…with the current snow situation, I have lost the trail several times in the past few days and I picked up a really good topo map in Breckenridge. I was glas I had it this morning. If you aren’t starting until July, you shouldn’t need any maps other than the guidebook and databook.

Think I will need to take the databook for a thruhike? I am taking the Thru-Hikers Companion Is not the databook contained in the companion?
