Suggestions: Check the Postholer site for snow conditions. I suggest using the historical function and compare this year to previous years that have similiar snow at this time of year. Then check to see when the historical years were melted out. Note that just because a snow sensor is reading zero snow, doesn’t mean there still isn’t large amounts of snow in the area for at least a while.
My gut feel is that given your anticipated start date and the snow pack in that area this year, it might be a bit on the early side, but your research should tell you this for certain.

It is going to be pretty snowy then. The mountains are good sized and the snow pack through the whole of the west has been pretty solid. WA isn’t going to melt out until late June or early July this year, so you may want to hold off, or bring the gear and skills necessary for the conditions.
