I am planning on starting March 12,2009. I’m from oklahoma, yeah a flatlander.But i do have some experience with the trail. I’m a 51 year old male. This shold be a great experience!

Am prob going to be out there next year thru hiking the trail as well.Am planning to start the end of Feb ,early March.

Boomer,
Grew up in Oklahoma and most of my family is still there. Now, Atlanta is home.
Will turn 50 on the trail next year. Plan on starting 3/11.

I guess we’ll all be meeting up on the trail… end of Feb/early March for me. I live on and island, Vinalhaven… off the coast of Maine. I’ll be walking home. God willing, I’ll turn 60 probably somewhere in the Whites.

Hopefully I will see you next year. I had to get off of the trail after 1 week this year, the timing just wasn’t right.
I’ll be doing the Colorado Trail this summer and plan to start with the Pinhote trail in mid Jan. which should put me at Springer in late Feb. Hope to see you then
