Still seeking AT Books & Video
Dear Hikers, My husband and I have been avid readers of Trail Journals for years. We have even left messages or correponded with many of you. We live in New Orleans and Katrina flooded our home and left it underwater for 3 weeks so all our possessions were ruined. Mike’s favorite thing was his collection of AT books and magazines; he had almost every one ever written. And he treasures everything AT. He is missing them very much. If any of you have any AT literature, Videos, CD’s, etc. that you are finished with or no longer want I would appreciate it if you could send it to him. I will be happy to refund your postage. Thank you in advance for helping me make him a little happier. We are staying with relatives right now and our address follows. Love, Pamela Send to: Mike Bacino c/o 14018 Susan Ct. Sugar Land, TX 77478

I’m sure someone has suggested to you to just read the online journals.

I took it one step further, though: I saved many of them to my computer and printed them off.

Printing journals is a great idea! You could print several trail journals then take them to Kinkos and have them spiral bound. Give them to your husband for christmas. Spiral binding here where I live is only $5.

I have seen all of your previous posts, but didn’t reply as I don’t have the books myself. I imagine folks on this site are rather attached to their AT books, but I found 25 auctions at eBay, including this one:
