Hello,
I’m late to the hiking season and need your suggestions for the journals I should be following this year.
Thanks!

Toesocks, Hobbit (in the lead I think), Certain (very funny and detailed, great picts, Comer and Jean. This will get you started. Try signing on and using the “reader acct”, it keeps track of what pages you’ve read and you can make a list of Bookmarks, gives you a list with picts and tells you when there is an update, very handy! :happy
Lipstick
You have the best as I’ve seen them, Lipstick, with the exception that I’d add Ant, SlickShoes, and Whateva to that list. They were in the lead (or pretty close to it) before they pulled out for Easter. They’ll be back though, and their journal is a lot of fun. I’m also especially fond of Hobbit’s journal (like him, I’m not exactly young anymore) but I think he’s still just a day or two off the lead. Last I’d read, his (and Ant & Co.'s) friend Groovasaurus was leading. That’s not to say that there aren’t other hikers ahead of them, but I haven’t seen any references to them.
Strategic
Ya… two really great jpurnals to read from '05 are “Break a Leg” and “Scholar” really funny and good reading, excellent journals ;):cheers
KTR
I’ve been following Mouse Trap, Uncle Tom, Twofer and Jennifer McGarrahan. Jennifer has a very different journal, a twist! It would be great for all of those spouses or loved ones out there that find it hard to be away from their loved ones. She tells her feelings, just like it is, she has her ups and down days and seemed a “bit” angry at first that her husband “Low Branch” is following her dream while she’s home with the kids. He has a journal too! She needs encouragement, altho lately she has really grown and she is one great WOMAN!!! :girl
