Greetings from Nabor J, who hiked the PCT last year. When will the main pack/majority of the 2006 class of AT through-hikers be reaching the NY/CT border? I am working on doing a story on the AT’ers coming through CT and need to know approximate dates of their arrival. Also, I hope to do some trail magic in the CT section of the trail. Any info. is appreciated.

They should be coming through now. I’m guessing the bulk will probably be the middle of July.

The few days I’ve been out to the trail lately there have been about 7 each time. The bulk do come from mid to late July. These groups now seem to be real goal oriented and doing large miles.

watch for Ork and Bean, they are from Alaska and now in PA so I would guess midJuly in CT. They are having a great time especially with heat and snakes—new to Alaskans!
