Hi! My name is Jessie Gehner and I am an Emergency Medicine Physician and former thru hiker ( Twisted Sister, SOBO 2007). I specialize in Wilderness Medicine and my research is on long distance hiker health. I am currently collecting data on pack weight, body weight, average daily miles and injuries/illnesses sustained on the trail.
