I’m starting my planning for the 2009 season. Anyone else out there doing a thru hike next year? Starting Marchish and hope to finish in time to make it to the PCT kickoff at the end of April.
On another note, I’m living in Bend and met my first PCT thru hikers!! Headed to do some magic this weekend. Central Oregon is amazing!

Are all of these tentative and/or surreal Arizona Trail Thruhikes to all be Northbound? Is this the suggested direction, and is March the opti-opium time to begin? I know the middle of AZ and love hers canyons, Up upon the Mogollon, is there a east-west Trail intersecting the azt.? Red Rock On!

i am hiking SoBo from Flagstaff to as far south as i can get (probably around Tucson), starting on December 23 and finishing by Jan 18 so i can get back to school. Any other crazy winter-trekkers??
