Baja Peninsula Plus PCT?

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Does anybody know if anyone has ever hiked the length of the Baja Peninsula together with thru hiking the PCT?

I read that Alan Ehrgott and John Cox backpacked the length of the Baja Peninsula in 1975. According to the Baja Adventure Book, they spent three months caching water and food in 75 mile increments (!!!) in preparation for their 110 mile backpack trip.

Steve Keely made two failed attempts at hiking the entire length of the peninsula before successfully hiking the southern half along Pacific Coast beaches and bicycling the northern half along the Sea of Cortez.

There is a 1,057 mile bicycle tour from Tecate to Cabo San Lucas that is supposedly fairly popular.

Also according to the Baja Adventure Book, Graham Mackintosh did a 3,000 mile backpacking trip along the Baja Peninsula’s Pacific and Cortez coasts.

I made a typo. Ehrgott and Cox’s Baja Peninsula walk was 110 days, not 110 miles.
