I have read in the Trailplace(RIP)forums that AMC was pulling out of Bascom Lodge on Mt Greylock. The AMC Website & the Thru-hiker’s Companion confirmed this.
This weekend, I made my annual pilgramige to the War Memorial expecting to find Bascom boarded up. Good news! The lodge is being run by Nature’s Classroom.
