Hello there, AT community. I am getting ready to lead a group of high school outing club members on a short 52 mile jaunt from the Bear Mountain Bridge to the CT-NT state line. Anyone know what the trail conditions are like in that area? Is there still a lot of snow? Ice in the shady spots? Any info you have would be appreciated.

Last weekend we were on a short section of the AT while hiking to Anthony's Nose. Trail there was snow and ice free. Also drove up over Shenandoah Mt and it looked clear, no snow at the RPH shelter. Hope this helps a little, have fun!
