Oppssum, Willow and Merle McClinton have the starts of a good journal. You can's beat Jaws for useful information.

Sun does have a great journal. I liked the one where she is trying to learn how to set up her tent while it is windy in the back yard of her “crack house” apartment building.

I’ve read Stumpknocker’s FL Trail journal it is very good…You know I was just talking to him at the SoRuc. I am really looking forward to seeing him on Oprah. Oops, not sure I should say that…? Can’t wait til the book comes out…he takes such great photos I wonder if they’ll be used? Does anyone know? Anyway, I’ll have to make sure he signs my copy…

Stumpy is finishing the Florida Trail as we write. He told me he needed the time in the sunshine state to work on his tan so that he will look his best in front of the cameras on Oprah. Stumpy also told me the two things he misses the most when hiking are Oprah and the Oxygen Network.

Stumpknocker can’t afford the time in the sunshine state to develop his tan so that he will look his best in front of the cameras on Oprah. Oprah will outshine him in every way.

I found it at the end of a long list of “sun___'s” in the search:

Try icecrmman’s journal. They left Maine today, and will actually be starting the trail in a few days. I think they are nuts starting this early, but they only have 3 months to get as much of the trail done as possible, then it’s back to Maine and back to work. Good luck guys !!

A+++ to Stumpknocker for freshness, mischief, tease, imagination, dependability. He concocts, masterminds, beguiles and outfoxes. Who but Stumpknocker could hoodwink 3 rational adults into groveling cash to fund his hot dog and sundae habits? Who knows how, but he finds a way, day in and day out, to keep his journal current. Whenever he’s on a trail, his legion of friends and fans get to come along too, almost in real time. Not only come along, but also tease him right back, via guestbook. Oprah should hit the trail in hopes of meeting Stumpknocker. Imagine his TJ entry about that!
