Best Place to live off the AT

I would have thought that anywhere in the UK would be good. You can commute to East Coast Airports in the USA from a few UK Airports . Some very close to the AT

Can you squeal like a pig? Seriously, ET and WNC are very similar. NC has a state income tax, TN doesn’t. Orange is a beautiful, non-tacky color, while baby blue is for losers. Asheville has great food and clubs but housing is very expensive. Anti-hiker attitudes around Roan Mtn. and Hampton are myth - some great, kind, generous people live there. I live in JC, which is 30 minutes from several places on the AT. But you wouldn’t like it - not enough traffic. Stay where you are.

I know I am prejudiced but one of the most beautiful states is NH. We have no state income tax or sales tax. “Live Free of Die” is the state motto. I live in central NH. We are 2 hours from Boston and Portland Maine, 5 from New York and about that from Montreal. We have lots of great clear lakes and I guess the list goes on.

I thought about NH. But it is better to only stay there in the summer. Set up another gig in the tropics for the winter. and I am working on that one too…

Where is a good place to fine out local summer jobs and happenings up in NH.
