Best Season - Pacific Crest Trail

If I would section hike the PCT, which would be the best season for each section in order to minimize snow, cold, wet, heat, mosies?
I am aware there will be plenty of challenges left!

Late April - May for the desert sections (the flowers are beautiful and best chance of water in the springs) -
August or September for the rest of the trail - no mosquitos and the snow will be gone.

Can’t really predict Washington. Some years August is good, some years September is good – some years it’s cloudy and rainy both months. We had snow in September – but not that much. Lots of fog and cloud and misty rain though. Late July works for the Sierras and northern California, but that’s prime hiking season, hence crowded, and the bugs can be bad in spots. It can be quite hot then in northern California. September is probably better there.
