Billy Goat Finishes the PCT

I heard Saturday night on our local NBC affiliate (KGW) here in Portland, OR that Billy Goat had finished the PCT last week.

They (KGW) was enamorated that an older person had finished the PCT every year for the past several years.

Here’s to Billy Goat on his PCT completion. I hope to have his endurance when I am older.

Hondo and I talked to Billy Goat around the 29th of August. He had walked down Stevens Pass to Coles Corner and then up the road to Trinity skipping the part of the detour that was closed then by fire. He was doing great and enjoying himself. We saw him about 3 miles short of Trinity.
