I recommend avoiding Jenkins Shuttle in the Shenandoah National Park/AT area. Nice guy on the phone but left us stranded on a pickup. We confirmed with him less than 24 hours before, but he never showed or called to check on us.

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. I offer shuttles in SNP at no cost to the hiker. If you wish to have a shuttle, you may contact the local outfitter, they can tell you how to contact me. If the hiker feels he/she would like to pay for the services I provide, I ask that a donation be made to PATC Trails Maintenance Fund, a donation I happily match.

I had a great experience with Mr. Jenkins; I’m thinking this is just a fluke, and hope you’ll give him another chance if you hike through that beautiful area again. I know we will!
Trail Sweetie
I’m glad trail sweetie had a good experience with Mr. Jenkins. But I’m not sure it"s a fluke when he not only abandoned us, but has not called in the intervening two months (!) to apologize, explain, or even make sure we were okay. I don’t want someone else to suffer our fate.
