I read in the (on-line)Republic about a body being found off a trail near Picketpost. It was in a freezer.
A clip was also shown on TV last night. Does anyone know if the trail shown on the screen was the AzT?
I caught the tail end of the clip, so I wasn’t able to identify the terrain.

Searching “picketpost” on their website turns up nothing relevant. Would you happen to have a link? (in your History bar?)

I’ve contacted a person at the paper. Might get help there. I can’t find an archives site for the Republic. Dinosaur attribute, maybe. I’m just not smart with this device.

“On Monday, a camper in the desert three miles south of the U.S. 60 and Picket Post found a bag containing the remains inside a freezer, according to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.”
“Three miles south” could be just about anywhere, although I’d imagine this was alongside a road, and the Arizona Trail is isolated singletrack trail heading south from Picketpost trailhead.
Gotta love that newspaper editing work.
