At least he does after half a dozen showers at my house :slight_smile: He is doing well. Dropped him off just north of Big Meadows in SNP yesterday with high spirits and a heavy food bag. The sun even came out for a bit!!!

If you wanna…it’ll be the hardest hike you’ve ever done. I can’t guar-ahn-tee we won’t have to leave you in the dust…as in I’m not sure if my brother in law can stay all day as planned. He may have to drop and run if he has work to do. So far every one attending is in shape and ready for pain. Although, Strider wife Mary may run support and if you need a lift you could jump in. We’ll be making a fair 3+ mph for 3-5 hours at a clip, then a rest for a few so we don’t get stiff. The Apple Dumpling Gang busses a move when we can. We fly. You fly? You have a few weeks to get tough. :girl

HHC, MD is mad rocky (well compared to NC and southern VA) but it is a bit flatter like all the mid atlantic states. Good luck to B&B and crew. Should be an adventure. Connecticut Challenge could be a sequel… Or come down and tackle the Smokies with me next year (gotta break 23 hours now!) BTW, if you are still interested, we are still doing the Sauratown Trails 50 mile and volunteers are still needed. I can debrief anybody about it at Trail daze (hope to make it up for at least Friday) or visit http://www.unc.edu/~mkirk/sauratown.html for more info. -Matt
