Breckenridge Resupply

I plan to start my hike on July 13, if the fires don’t prevent me. I will be walking with my dog and am planning out my resupply. I notice there is a bus that goes to the trailhead near Breckenridge–can anyone tell me how frequently that comes and what kind of re-supply is available to purchase locally to supplement what I send ahead.

thanks
Jo

Mags guide to resupply answers this Q well:

Summit Stage schedules here:

I am hoping to start on the 13th too

The free shuttle comes pretty regularly. When I got off the trail I walked over to the bus stop and didn’t have to wait more than 30 minutes for one to come by.

There is a co-op grocery store in Breckenridge. A block or two away from the ski lift. It’s nice and large (a little pricey). I took the shuttle into Frisco to pick up a mail drop, and although I didn’t go farther I believe that there may be a Walmart or something around there. Unclear if the shuttle goes that far. Have a great hike.

There is a City Market in Breck that is a very good sized supermarket. The bus will take you there. The Fireside Inn will also accept maildrops.

The Summit County bus is free and goes to Copper, Frisco, Dillon, Silverthorne, and Breck. Check the bus schedule referenced above.

For an additional $5, you can take the bus to Leadville as well.

I was planning on thru hiking with a partner departing on the 10th of July. Long story short, he isn’t going anymore. He Lives in Ohio and has my trail data book. Where can I get a new one in Denver? Does any one need a hiking partner or just someone to camp with ? let me know ! thanks in advance
