Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about Buck Nasty or Swan? They have a house in Louisiana, I think near New Orleans. They are hiking the trail this year. They are a brother and sister who at the beginning of the trail went by Dave and Lisa Crain. That is their real names.

I was thinking of Dave and Lisa - who got their trail names long after I left the trail @ Newfound Gap.
I actually ran into several hikers I’d hiked with, including Radio and Krazy Katie, and they thought that Dave and Lisa - Buck and Swan - left the trail around Harper’s Ferry.
Then we got to thinking that Dave and Lisa were from around the New Orleans area. Hope they and their families are well.

Last I saw of them was in Duncannon, PA, early June. They were concerned about budget for the trail and Swan had developed a significant issue with her pack rubbing her lower back raw. Things weren’t looking good for them staying on trail. I have no idea since then and certainly hope they are ok.

Anyway, I hiked with Buck and Swan (It’s Buck Naked btw) for quite some time and haven’t heard from them in a while, but I have heard that they left the trail because their Dad got sick. Anyway, if I remember right tunes has their contact info, so he may be the guy to contact.
