Sounds great to hike with some company. But I am planning on starting at copper mtn now. I suppose its similar to justen’s new plan. So If you want to wait an extra day or retrace from copper that would be cool. I am not in any great hurry to cover the miles fyi figuring on 10 miles a day of so

yeah. that’s what i actually stopped. i got really lonley hiking solo. i was covering a little over 20 miles a day. when i got home i took all my gear to the shop in town and weighed it. w/o food and water it was just over 10 lbs.! i could not believe that! anyway, i think i’m going to stick to alpine climbing the rest of the season. there’s really no snow up in rmnp which makes the rock routes really appealing. have fun an dbe safe!
