What can you tell me about Burke Gardens. I think that is the right name - it’s in VA above Atkins. Is it right on the AT? Is it a good place to camp? Reprovision? Thinking about that as a “get off” spot for a 10 day hike. Thanks. See you at Dot’s Bar.

Burkes Garden is a farming community well below the ridge the AT runs along. NOT a good resupply or get off spot. Best bet for camping with a view of BG is Chestnut Knob shelter or Davis Farm campsite.
