Anybody know if the recent southern California fire is interfering with PCT hikers?

go to www.pcta.org, the pct site, they give updated trail conditions and have links to fire updates. I took a look and it didn’t seem to show any worrys.

My daughter called me just yesterday and was on PCT near Idlewild. She said it was a bit smoky but not so bad. Some people were having trouble with it. She reported that an older gentleman did have to leave due to the smoke. But she was moving on this morning on to Big Bear City.
