Iam considering purchasing a Campmoor 0F down mummy bag. Both the price and weight are right. The only issue is performance. If anyone has this bag, I’d appreciate some feedback on whether it will really keep me warm at 0F. (Or to what temperature you found it to be effective.) Thanks.

Hi Conan,
In search there are two discussions about the Campmor bags, both the 0* and the 20* down mummy bags. They are great bags, and quite a few thru-hikers have used them on the PCT. As well as many other trails…they are well sewn and most have no complaints at all. If you are a cold sleeper I would go with the 0* bag if using in the High Sierras. It would all depend on where you are planning to use this bag if it will keep you warm or not.

I own the 0 Deg.Campmor,I have used it on 2 early March section hikes,The temperatures got down below 20 deg.I was toasty, however on nights 30-40 deg.temps I had to unzip, too toasty. The weather is the key, which for me is hard to predict on the AT in the area I’ve hiked up to in the last 7 years from Springer.I leave from Damascus going north this late March.I’ll bring the 0 deg.Campmoor and my Western Mountain 30 deg bag and watch the reports then decide.I have the 20 deg.Campmor also-nice bag.Nights 27 plus it sleeps well for me.Both bags have good loft and are made well, the cost and wt. good also.

I own the 20 deg campmor bag and have been pleased with its performance. Has no problem keeping me warm with temperatures in the low 20s

I used the 20 degree Campmor mummy bag for the entire PCT and it rocked.

Great in snow and ice as well as other weather.

It never let me down.

Do these bags compress well like the northface bags?
