Could someone please tell me when the campo kick-off for the p.c.t. begins. the date and if there are any accomodations for trail angels. I am kinda new at this…thanx. Do the hikers and Angels mix and should I bring my sleeping bag? etc. or should I just sleep in my car?

Go to the website Toes posted above. Be sure to register. The Kick Off organizers have reserved the entire campground, and they’ll assign you a campsite. You need to bring a tent and sleeping bag, whatever you’d normally use to camp. You could sleep in your car if you want.

I want to wish the best to all attending the kick-off this year. Zero and I are a bit jealous of ya all though! To our friend Emily, we cant wait till you get a trail name and make sure you you keep it fun. Since Zero and I will not be able to hike this year, we would like to extend this invitation… if any hikers need something mailed to them, comunicate via our email and we will try to get what ya need found, priced and sent. If ya email in advance we will be happy to provide a phone numeber to better facilitate fast communication. We are on the east coast so there is the snail mail delay thing, but we will be happy to provide any assistance we can. Good luck to all 2005’ers.

That really sucks that you won’t be able to hike this year. I’ll be at ADZ for the first time and was looking forward to seeing you and Zero again after the kindness last summer at Bear’s Den.
