Any AT Thru-hikers out there using a cannister fuel type stove…if so, did you have any problems buying the fuel?..And are there any problems with this type of stove?..thanks…

Cannister fuel is available in every trail town that has an outfitter as well as some hostels. I had no problem getting fuel 90% of the time. I carried a few ESBIT tabs as an emergency backup so never had a cold supper.
Cannisters are a bit problematic when temps get well below freezing (say 20-25 degrees). That issue can be solved by keeping it warm inside your jacket, sleeping bag, etc
