CDT Access - Continental Divide Trail

I live in California and I want to hike the portion of the CDT that is in Montana. I would like to access the trail in Glacier National Park and was wondering what the best way to access the trailhead is?

-Where to fly into?

-How to get from there to the trail head?

Thanks in advance

Amtrak will get you to East Glacier. You could fly to Missoula and rent a car one-way to East Glacier. Greyhound stops in East Glacier. From there, you can take the National Park concessionaire’s shuttle up to Chief Mt or to Waterton Lake and start hiking.

Airport at Kalispell is closer than Missoula. You might want to check that as well.
